JHSC Certification - Part 2 - Child Care (2 Days)

Once the JHSC members have successfully completed ‘Basic Certification Training’, they are required to fulfill the requirements of ‘Part 2 – Specific to Child Care Facilities’. Part 2 is hazard specific to the workplace. Both parts 1 and 2 are required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act section 9, for a JHSC member to be certified.

Based on Your Hazard Assessment, the Following Hazard Modules would apply to your Workplace:

  • Manual Material Handling / Repetitive Strain Injuries
  • Violence in the Workplace
  • Violence & Harassment
  • Kitchen Hazards
  • Infection Control
