Construction Hazard Awareness Training

This course was developed for students or anyone who will be or is thinking of entering the construction industry. This training program has been developed for those who have limited experience in a construction environment.

The focus of this course is to help those that are new to construction, of all the hazards found on-site, the kinds of things that everyone else considers ‘common sense’ when they have experience working in the industry. This course is not about how to do a job safely, but more on things you should be looking for when working on a job site. We will teach them about how the other trades working may create hazards, how to identify a safety hazard and how they should deal with specific situations.

Course is available to schedule on-site at your facility, in one of our training centers or via distance learning.

This is a discussion-based session which means through visuals and discussions, the following elements are discussed in detail:

-What you can expect to see on a job site
-The legal stuff
-Personal protective equipment (PPE)
-Basic construction project hazards
-Discuss kinds of accidents
-Understanding of working at heights
