Description

In this program, we will review the legal requirements for businesses to maintain their racking systems. We will discuss the proper maintenance, and having a racking inspection programs in place that includes an inventory of your racks. This program will also show you examples of damaged racks to help you identify problems faster. The objective of our Racking Inspection Training is to inform, and provide confidence to employees in the safe and effective use and inspection of racking systems in the workplace.

COURSE CONTENT

  •  Gain knowledge of the OHSA and applicable regulations
  • Determine when a Pre-Start Health and Safety Review (PSR) may be required
  • Overview of expectations from the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development for racking inspection programs, inclusive of inspection and reporting expectations
  • Gain an understanding of CSA Standard 344-17 for Racking Systems
  • Outline the inspection requirements for Racking Systems
  • Knowledge of the maintenance requirements related to identifying deficiencies
